1. Please explain how you are spending your mentorship time (Is it at a workplace or somewhere else? Are you shadowing? Are you able to do tasks that are meaningfully related to the topic? If so, what? Are there other people who are experts in the location? Etc...)
I spend my times learning from books at my mentorship. I am not getting the full experience because hands on work would be better than just book work.
2. How did you find your mentor? How did you convince this person to help you?
I spend my times learning from books at my mentorship. I am not getting the full experience because hands on work would be better than just book work.
2. How did you find your mentor? How did you convince this person to help you?
My mom helped me find this mentor. He is a close family friend of ours. I convinced him that I wanted to learn a lot more about electronics engineering and getting hands on would be great for me in the future.
3. How would you rate your comfort level with your mentor at this point in your relationship? How does this relate to the time you've spent so far at mentorship/with this person
I am okay with my mentor. I don't really talk to him that much besides doing work. The time that I have spent isn't really enough because our schedules are very busy. So we would meet when we are available on certain days.
4. What went well in this interview? Why do you think so? What do you still need to improve? How do you know? How will you go about it?
I think that everything went well in this interview. I say that it went well because all my questions were answered and that I got to know more about what my mentor went through. I still need to improve my relationship if I want him to continue being my mentor. I know this because keeping someone close will lower their chance of leaving. I will try to talk more to him and try to get to know him better.
