Lesson 2 Reflection
1.What are you most proud of in your Lesson 2 Presentation and why?
I am most proud in my ability to present my topic. I covered all of the topics I that were on my presentation. I also met the time requirement and did most of the contract.
2. a. What assessment would you give yourself on your Lesson 2 Presentation (self-assessment)?
AE (P-) AP CR NC
b. Explain why you deserve that grade using evidence from the Lesson 2 component contract.
I deserve this grade because some of the things I weren't really fond of. My presentation skills could have been improved and that I could have had more time to practice.
3. What worked for you in your Lesson 2?
What worked was the information that I provided. I met time with the amount of information that I gave out.
4. What didn't work? If you had a time machine, what would you have done differently to improve your Lesson 2?
What didn't really work well was my activity. If I had a time machine I would have made my activity more engaging so that the audience wouldn't have been that bored with it.
5. What do you think your answer #2 is going to be?
My answer 2 is going to focus more on the technicians ability to do formulas correctly. Also how well a technician knows his electronics and important parts in electronics.

Blog 14 - Interview 3 Preparation
How can electronics best be optimized so that they can run to their full potential?

1. Who do you plan to interview? What is this person's area of expertise?
I plan to interview a colleague of my mentor, This person has been in the business longer than my mentor and has a bachelor's degree.
2. Verify that you have called your interviewee to schedule an interview. What is the date and time of the interview?
2. Verify that you have called your interviewee to schedule an interview. What is the date and time of the interview?
I plan on interviewing my interviewee on the 23rd of January around 1:00.
3. Phrase an open-ended question that will help you find research resources that would help to answer the EQ.
3. Phrase an open-ended question that will help you find research resources that would help to answer the EQ.
How are electronics components now-a-days getting better? Do we have the components to make an electronic its very best?
4. Phrase an open-ended question that will help you think about other useful activities you might do to help you answer the EQ (IC2, possible experts to talk to, etc).
4. Phrase an open-ended question that will help you think about other useful activities you might do to help you answer the EQ (IC2, possible experts to talk to, etc).
What activities can produce the best understanding of electronic components?
5. Phrase two open-ended questions that help you to understand your interviewee's perspective on an aspect of your EQ.
Will there ever be a time that an electronic component can run at its full potential? Will it be near in the future or will it take some time before it gets mastered?

Blog 12 - Holiday Project Update

1. It is important to consistently work on your senior project, whether it is break or we are in school. What did you do over the break with your senior project?
What I did over break for my senior project included a lot of researching on my project. A lot more knowledge on the important aspects of electronic engineering.
2. What was the most important thing you learned from what you did, and why? What was the source of what you learned?
I learned that you have to put time and effort into your projects in this field. If you don't then the whole project could be ruined if you didn't put the pieces in the right place. This important thing helped get me more focused on the next aspect of building pieces. I also learned a lot about diodes going on videos and reading articles.
3. Your third interview will be a 10 question interview related to possible answers for your EQ. Who do you plan to talk to and why?
I plan on interviewing a friendly face in the electronic engineering field. I want to talk to anyone in this field because I want to see what there style is. I want to get a vast knowledge on how many engineers work and how they handle things differently.

Blog 11 - Lesson 1 Reflection

1. What are you most proud of in your lesson, and why?
I am most proud on the information that I gave out during my presentation.
2. What assessment would you give yourself on your lesson? Explain why you earned that grade using evidence from the component contract.
After my presentation I would give myself an AP. I'm giving myself an AP because I didn't bring in a prop. Another reason is that I was really nervous and that I was speaking very fast in a way that no one could understand me. My hook wasn't very engaging and also I didn't meet the 8 minute mark in our presentation. These are the reasons why I would give myself an AP.
3. If you could go back, what would you change about your lesson? How can you use that knowledge to give a better Lesson 2?
If I could go back I would change my hook activity and I would attempt in bringing in a prop. I would also practice more in presenting by myself and I should have timed myself. I can use this knowledge to better my presentation on my next lesson. I have to take everything into consideration and make the next lesson better that my first one. Knowing what to present is better than just looking at your PowerPoint for a couple minutes.

Blog 10 - Interview 2 Reflection
1. Please explain how you are spending your mentorship time (Is it at a workplace or somewhere else? Are you shadowing? Are you able to do tasks that are meaningfully related to the topic? If so, what? Are there other people who are experts in the location? Etc...)
I spend my times learning from books at my mentorship. I am not getting the full experience because hands on work would be better than just book work.
2. How did you find your mentor? How did you convince this person to help you?
I spend my times learning from books at my mentorship. I am not getting the full experience because hands on work would be better than just book work.
2. How did you find your mentor? How did you convince this person to help you?
My mom helped me find this mentor. He is a close family friend of ours. I convinced him that I wanted to learn a lot more about electronics engineering and getting hands on would be great for me in the future.
3. How would you rate your comfort level with your mentor at this point in your relationship? How does this relate to the time you've spent so far at mentorship/with this person
I am okay with my mentor. I don't really talk to him that much besides doing work. The time that I have spent isn't really enough because our schedules are very busy. So we would meet when we are available on certain days.
4. What went well in this interview? Why do you think so? What do you still need to improve? How do you know? How will you go about it?
I think that everything went well in this interview. I say that it went well because all my questions were answered and that I got to know more about what my mentor went through. I still need to improve my relationship if I want him to continue being my mentor. I know this because keeping someone close will lower their chance of leaving. I will try to talk more to him and try to get to know him better.

Blog 9 - Advisory Prep 3

1. State whether or not you currently have a mentor, and what the status of your interview is with that person (I have completed the interview, I have scheduled the interview, I have not scheduled the interview, etc).
I do and I don't have a mentor at the moment. I'm currently looking for a mentor, while my dad is there on the side teaching me a little bit. I haven't scheduled the interview yet, because of my little dilemma.
2. At this point, your research is probably guiding your studies toward more specific areas within your topic. Name the area or two you find most promising and explain your reasons.
The area that I find more promising is the controller engineer in this field. I say this because it talks about the major job of being an electronics engineer. The modeling of dynamic systems and the design of controllers using electrical circuits, digital signal processors, and micro controllers are all explained in my research.
3. What kinds of sources do you think will help you in the next month to gain more research depth? Where will you go to get them?
I think that books on the topic could really help me a lot. I could acquire them from libraries or from people who have books on my topic.
4. Write down a possible EQ. Please don't worry about wording other than ensuring that it provides the option for multiple correct answers. At this point, the senior team is most interested in understanding your thought process.
Possible EQ: What is the most effective way to design, construct and test an electronic product?

Blog 8 - Independent Component 1 Proposal

1. Describe in detail what you plan to do for your 30 hours.
What I plan to do is take a 20 class on Computer Sciences. The other 10 hours I can get from notes and studying.
2. Discuss how or what you will do to meet the expectation of showing 30 hours of evidence.
In order to to meet the expectation of showing the 30 hours, I will have to show my notes and study materials I have used in the online course.
3. Explain how what you will be doing will help you explore your topic in more depth.
This will help me understand the fundamentals of Electronic Engineering. It will help me gain more knowledge on things that I don't really know about. It will be a learning experience for me in this project.
